	Scorpio Shield is available to Scorpio Diesel vehicles only, including all variants available as on date.
	The Scorpio must have been sold, delivered and serviced by M &M dealers as per M&M periodic maintenance schedule provided in Owner’s Manual.
	The Scorpio must not be used for commercial purposes including usage as taxi.
	The Scorpio must be under Original Warranty and has not covered more than 50000 kms at the time of registration under Scorpio Shield.
	The following documents required for the registration of Scorpio shield • Completed and signed Registration form • Copy of Vehicle Information page from Service Coupon book • Copy of comprehensive motor insurance certificate.

This Extended Warranty Scheme is further to the Basic New Vehicle Warranty period of 2 years for Scorpio models.
It includes further 2years/50.000kms. (Which ever is earlier)

Scorpio Shield Term –
Third and fourth year or 50000 kms in continuity of original warranty i.e the owner who is registered under Scorpio
Shield can avail the benefits till 4 years from the date of sale or 1 lakh kms. of odometer reading whichever event
occurs earlier.
Scorpio Shield terms and conditions –
Scorpio Shield is a mechanical and electrical break down - Extended warranty program specially designed to protect
the owner from the unforeseen cost of repairs and replacement and governed by the following terms and conditions.
a) Coverage : If any defect(s) should be found in the Scorpio within the Extended Warranty period in
mechanical/electrical parts, which are detailed in the “Master Schedule of Parts Covered” , M&M’s only
obligation is to repair or replace at it’s sole discretion any part shown to be defective with a new part or the
equivalent at no cost to the Owner for parts and/or labour, only if such a defect is attributable to faulty material
or workmanship at the time of manufacture. The Owner shall repair or replace the parts that are not covered
by the Extended Warranty, at his own expenses.
b) Liability: M&M liability is limited to attending mechanical and electrical failures Under Scorpio Shield
c) Exclusions : The following are excluded from Scorpio Shield.
• Normal maintenance services including without limitation, oil and fluid changes, wheel alignment, head light aiming,
wheel balancing, tightening mountings, tyre rotation, tyre inflation, engine tuning, clutch and brake setting, valve
clearance setting, differential back lash setting, replacement of belts.
• Normal maintenance service items including without limitation, bulbs, battery, tyres, tubes, brake lining, internal parts
of brake master cylinder and wheel cylinder, belts, hoses, filters, wiper blades, bushes, oil and coolants;
• Any seal/gasket replaced/refitted as a part of periodic maintenance schedule.
• Items having limited life like, clutch, brake liners and pads, disk & drum etc.

Owner’s Responsibility –
The owner of Scorpio have certain responsibilities which are given below :
• The Scorpio must be comprehensively insured during the tenure of the Scorpio Shield
• The Scorpio must have been serviced at each 5000 kms. as per periodic maintenance schedule from M&M
dealers.
• The intervals between scheduled services must not exceed stipulated mileage more than 1000 kms .
• The Scorpio Shield Registration form is completely filled in at time of application.
• Ensure that the record of services and maintenance is certified by M&M dealers performing
services/maintenance on the “Maintenance Service Record” page in the M&M “Owner’s Manual” and “Scorpio
Shield Booklet”.
• Present Owner’s Manual, original insurance cover note and Scorpio Shield booklet with unique serial number
to M&M dealer while requesting inspection or attention.
• If Owner’s Manual or the Scorpio Shield booklet is lost or destroyed, the Owner should consult M&M dealer
 from whom the Scorpio Shield was registered for advise concerning obtaining duplicate copy.
